The little blue penguin (fairy Penguin) is the smallest species of penguin. It grows to an average of 33 cm in height and 43 cm in length. It is found on the coastlines of southern Australia and New Zealand. A little penguin lives in a colony and usually spends its time searching for food in the ocean. The penguins only venture to land at night. Nesting along the coast, they return to their nests to rest.
