Portunus armatus, also known as the flower crab, blue crab, blue swimmer crab, blue manna crab or sand crab, is a large crab found in the intertidal estuaries around most of Australia.
The main body, or carapace, of blue swimmer crabs can grow up to 25 cm (9.8 inches) in width.
